Do you have a world-changing idea but need help putting it into action?
I work 1-on-1 with social entrepreneurs who are starting up or trying to improve the impact of their social venture while ensuring that it is financially sustainable.
I’ve helped entrepreneurs like you clarify their ideas; develop plans that help them take action and launch new ventures, as well as new products or services that are consistent with their goals; and manage hurdles that get in their way,
Coaching sessions often addresses the following needs and challenges:
- Explore ideas and brainstorm new opportunities, if needed, and develop clear concepts for possible services, products, or business entities
- Identify your ideal market or customer type and how to reach them
- Work through the numbers to see if the potential return makes pursuing your idea worthwhile
- Pitch your idea to and secure support from board members and other decision-makers, as well as potential customers, colleagues, and partners
- Identify and proactively manage potential pitfalls to success
- Figure out the nitty-gritty of how to put your idea to work, including where to start
- Plan for launch and ongoing maintenance of your new venture
- And, manage communication barriers, overwhelm, distraction, and other challenges that can dampen enthusiasm and make or break your new venture

How does coaching work?
Building a successful social enterprise or social impact business can take considerable time and energy, and it is easy to become frustrated or overwhelmed, and even to lose focus.
My coaching approach is strategic, actionable and outcome-oriented, helps you build capacity to manage start-up and operating activities, and is designed to help keep you on track as you move forward with your project. While I do offer assignments and advice, my primary role as a coach and mentor is to help you in reaching your own goals. If you need me to do the work for you, I offer consulting services, as well.
Coaching sessions are highly individualized to your and your organization’s needs with engagements being either time-limited (a strategic deep dive, for example) or ongoing (step-by-step support through the start-up process). Your investment in coaching is tailored to your level of need and the results you see. And, if you are not happy with the results, I will refund your money.
