In the moments in between the labors of life, I pursue a photographic practice of noticing that forces me to slow down, activate my sense of wonder, and see the world around me–even if just outside my door–in a different way than I do when I am busy, distracted or worried. The quality of my photos is not what matters to me; it is the “lens” I choose to use that does…how I frame what I’m looking at, curiosity about my subject, and my intention to find what’s beautiful in it.
